Grace Baptist Church

Grace Baptist Church is a change-of-occupancy project giving new purpose to a former office building on 42nd Street in Springfield — once home to Taco Bell’s local headquarters, and now being transformed into a welcoming church home. For an amazing pastor and congregation, the project includes a remodel, small addition, sanctuary, classrooms, entry, kitchen, and support spaces, while also allowing the building to serve as a meeting hall for the American Legion. It is a meaningful adaptive reuse project: taking a familiar commercial building and helping it become a place for worship, fellowship, service, and community life.
