Sherwood Shangri-La

Sherwood Shangri-La is an addition-remodel that transforms part of an existing Cal Young home into a comfortable accessory dwelling unit. Tucked into an established Eugene neighborhood, the project adds just enough new space while carefully reworking part of the existing house to create a small, complete home with its own living, dining, kitchen, bedroom, and accessible bathroom spaces. The goal is practical but personal: to make the house more flexible, more useful, and more supportive for the next chapter of life. With thoughtful interior planning, landscape design, and a careful addition that fits the existing home, Sherwood Shangri-La is a sweet little retreat hiding in plain sight.
