Marten Creek Overlook

Marten Creek Overlook includes two new home rebuilds after the Holiday Farm Fire, perched high above the Marten Rapids of the McKenzie River. The project is about rebuilding with care in a demanding and beautiful setting — restoring homes, working through site constraints, and creating places that take full advantage of the river, trees, and dramatic topography. Each home is shaped by the realities of rebuilding after a major fire, but also by the opportunity to create something durable, graceful, and well-suited to the land. It is a practical and meaningful project in one of the McKenzie River’s most striking locations.
