Mary Lane Makeover

Mary Lane Makeover is a major residential addition-remodel for an existing hillside home in Eugene’s Southwest Hills. The project replaces a collection of older exterior decks, carport, sunroom, dining, kitchen, and entry areas with a more cohesive design that includes a new lower-level garage and a reworked main level with a new kitchen, living room, dining room, and main entry. The remodel also updates key existing spaces, including the laundry room, bedroom, and primary bathroom, while adding new exterior decks, retaining walls, stairs, and a roof structure that better ties the home together. With vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, a generous new living/dining area, and stronger connections between inside and out, the project is about transforming a complicated existing house into something more open, useful, and ready for its next chapter.
