Sheldon Football Stadium

Watching a high school football game in the cold rain and wind has a way of separating the fair-weather fans from the die-hard! To remedy this, a new steel canopy was designed & built, complete with a backdrop to cut the draft. Funded entirely by generous donations, the cost and construction timeline was tightly managed in order to make the deadline: being ready for the opening day football game. Occupancy and final sign-off was achieved the day before the first game of the season—whew! Now the field feels like a real stadium. Go Fighting Irish!
